Statistics from players surveyed at the Homeless World Cup in Cardiff 2019

Since the Homeless World Cup was established in 2003, 81 nations have brought teams to the tournament.

Every player coming to the Homeless World Cup has overcome personal struggles to get there. At the Homeless World Cup, our players are celebrated - as athletes and as inspirations to the next generation.

Our donations help to fund our tournament and our year-round work with our Global Members. We support them to develop and grow, so we can reach more people and continue to use sport to transform lives.

150 million reasons to support the Homeless World Cup

There are a reported 150 million people globally who are homeless (World Economic Forum, 2021).

We are asking our supporters, new and existing to support the Homeless World Cup and to help us continue in our vision of a world without homelessness.

There are 150 million reasons to support the Homeless World Cup so help us mark our 20th anniversary this year by donating to the Foundation so we can continue to make a real impact across the globe for another 20 years.

We want to increase the amount of Member Countries we work with, adding more countries to the Homeless World Cup Family. Your donation will enable us to keep operating with our partners but also grow the number of organisations we can help.
